To lose the grace of motherhood, I cannot possibly go on living." She then threw herself into the fire and died. The gentlemen said that Jieguzi was virtuous and remained pure without being tainted. "The Book of Songs" says: "That person, his son, would not waver in giving up his life." This is what it refers to.
