| 14 | 書虛: | 如才庶幾者，明目異於人，則世宜稱亞聖，不宜言離朱。人目之視也，物大者易察，小者難審。使顏淵處昌門之外，望太山之形，終不能見，況從太山之上，察白馬之色？色不能見，明矣。非顏淵不能見，孔子亦不能見也。何以驗之？耳目之用，均也。目不能見百里，則耳亦不能聞也。陸賈曰：「離婁之明，不能察帷薄之內；師曠之聰，不能聞百里之外。」昌門之與太山，非直帷薄之內，百里之外也。 |
