| Gan Shi was a native of Taiyuan. He was skilled in qigong, did not eat or drink, and also took Tianmendong. He practiced sexual techniques according to the methods of Rongcheng Xuansu, further elaborating on them, compiling one volume; its use proved quite effective in the short term. He treated illnesses without using acupuncture, moxibustion, or herbal decoctions. He lived more than three hundred years in the human world before ascending to immortality in Wangwu Mountain. |
