《韩诗外传》曰：明王有三惧：一曰处尊位而恐不闻其过，二曰得志而恐骄；三曰闻天下之至道而恐不能行。 又曰：君者，群也。群天下万民而除其害者，谓之君。王者，往也，天下往之。善养生人者也，故人尊之；善辩治人者也，故人安之。善显设人者也，故人亲之；善粉饰人者也，故人悦之。四德具而天下往之，四德无一而天下去之。往之之谓王，去之之谓亡，故曰道存则国存，道亡则国亡。 |
