《漢書》曰：桐師以東北，至葉榆，名為巂、昆明。編發，隨畜遷徙無常處，無君長，地方可數千里。

2 巂:
《永昌郡傳》曰：越巂郡，在建寧西北千七百里，治江都縣。自建寧，高山相連，至川中平地，東西南北八千餘里。郡特好桑蠶，宜黍，稷、麻、稻、梁。
