| 3 | 烝民: | 「既明且哲，以保其身。」曰：「只是上文『肅肅王命，仲山甫將之；邦國若否，仲山甫明之』，便是明哲。所謂『明哲』者，只是曉天下事理，順理而行，自然災害不及其身，可以保其祿位。今人以邪心讀詩，謂明哲是見幾知微，先去占取便宜。如揚子雲說『明哲煌煌，旁燭無疆；遜于不虞，以保天命』，便是占便宜底說話，所以它一生被這幾句誤。然『明哲保身』，亦只是常法。若到那舍生取義處，又不如此論。」文蔚 |
