天鉴有汉，山岳降灵，于肃文恭，应期诞生，好是懿德，柔惠且贞，爰在初服。皇嘉其声，纳于机密，机密惟清，守于三邦，三邦事宁，越尹三卿，伯揆时序，七受帝命，作此元辅，左右六世，靖绥土宇，蠢彼群生，保赖亶叙，绍迹龙夷，继轨山甫，遭国不造，仍世短祚，援立圣嗣。保公之谟，帝曰文恭，朕嘉君功，为邑安乐，以佑其庸，登位特进，于异群公，休命丕显，光宠克章，公拜稽首。是对是扬，蔼蔼惟公，民斯攸望。春秋既暮，倏尔乃丧。不憖是遗，俾屏于皇，新庙奕奕，于以烝尝，子子孙孙，承嗣无疆。 |
| | Heaven's mirror reflects the Han, and mountains and rivers bestow spirits. In Suwen Gong, a worthy person is born in due time. He loves noble virtue, being gentle, kind, and chaste, even when first assuming office. The emperor praised his reputation and appointed him to confidential duties. In handling confidential affairs, he remained upright, safeguarding the three states. With peace in the three states, he served as a minister of Yu Yin San Qing. As chief advisor, he followed proper order and received seven imperial appointments, becoming this prime minister who assisted for six generations, bringing stability and security to the land. All living beings relied on him for protection and orderly governance. He continued the legacy of Longyi and succeeded in following the path of Shanfu. In times when the state was unfortunate and successive rulers had short reigns, he supported the establishment of a worthy heir. The emperor praised his strategy and named him Wen Gong. I commend your achievements, granting you the fief of Anle to honor your service. You were elevated to a special rank, distinguished among all officials. Your noble decree was widely recognized, and your illustrious favor became evident. The public official bowed deeply in gratitude. Thus he responded and received praise; dignified and noble was the public official, upon whom the people placed their hopes. The spring and autumn seasons had passed, and suddenly he died. He did not leave behind any regrets but served as a guardian for the emperor. The new temple stands grandly, where ancestral sacrifices are offered. May his descendants, generation after generation, inherit this legacy without end.
