1  | 明嘉靖中黃魯曾刊本。不著撰人名氏。案晁公武《讀書志》，乃宋楊侃所編也。侃，錢塘人，端拱中進士，官至集賢院學士。晚為知制誥，避真宗舊諱，更名大雅。是編摘錄前後《漢書》，不依篇第，不分門類。惟簡擇其字句故事列為標目，而節取顏師古及章懷太子《注》列於其下。凡《前漢書》七卷、《後漢書》五卷。雖於史學無關，然較他類書採摭雜說者，究為雅馴。《後漢書》中間有引及《前漢書》者，必標顏師古字。而所引梁劉昭《續漢志注》，乃與《章懷注》無別，體例未免少疏。至所列紀傳篇目，亦往往多有訛舛。然如《四皓》條下引《顏師古注》曰：「四皓稱號，本起於此，更無姓名可稱。蓋隱居之人，匿跡遠害，不自標顯，秘其氏族，故史傳無得而詳。至於皇甫謐、圈稱之徒及諸地理書說，竟為四人安姓字。自相錯互，語又不經。班氏不載於書，諸家皆臆說。今並棄略，一無取焉」云云。明監本《漢書注》竟佚此條，惟賴此書幸存，則亦非無資考証者矣。 |
