《第四回 思療妒鶬鶊置膳 欲除奸印信關防》
15  | 窃觀鳥性，靈蠢各殊。慈烏有反哺之恩，巨喙有警夜之智。啄木畫印而求飧，鴆鳥步罡而自肆。鶯善鬪，鵬善搏，鸚鵡能言，摩背則啞；鴝鵒解語，剔舌則鳴。鵲巢背太歲，故處危樹而不傾；燕窠伏戊已，雖寄高梁而不落。清歌效法于文鸞，妙舞肖形于素鶴，鴛班鷺序，鳩拙鷗閑。梟鴟不孝，䳭鴒友悌，杜宇啼必北向，鷓鴣飛必南翔。鶴書符，鸂勅水，鳶翔風，商舞雨，鸘蜚霜，鶴翥露，所技既殊；鸛交影，鶄交睛，鵲感音，鷁相胝，鶴交聲，鴛交頸，所交各異。鶬鶊有療妬之施，乾鵠有知來之術。鷹揚鼓勇於武夫，鶴淚助幽於道侶。雁過南樓，佳人心裂；鵲喧北牖，愁士眉舒。雞寒上距，鴨寒上喙。鷇將生，子呼母應；雛既生，母呼子應。霄䲩司夜，行䲩司晝。雄翼掩左，雌翼掩右。物食長啄，穀食短味。搏則利嘴，鳴則引吭。毛恊四時，色合五方。羽物變化，轉於時命。是則尋常之管窺，未盡羽族之萬一，而其性靈所鍾，聊擬議其大略云。 |
