101  | 李馥字汝嘉，福清人。康熙甲子舉人，任工部員外，轉刑部郎中，以治九門提督陶和器獄，有聲。出守重慶，郡經流寇亂後，田賦無考，馥履畝清丈，侵占弊息。遷河東運使，調蘇松常鎮道，晉江蘇按察。制府擒治奸民，株連百餘人，馥察其冤濫者，盡白釋之。轉安徽布政，巡撫浙江。時亢旱，請截漕二十萬，民不知饑。又漕米例用白糧，馥疏請兼用紅白，民便之。以失糾屬員去任。馥家素封，義所得為，必勇為之。在官以廉慎稱，家遂中落。歸田二十年，借屋以棲，怡然自樂。與士大夫文酒還往，年八十餘，重宴鹿鳴。又數年，卒。 |
