1  | 儒者痛闢佛氏，猶病其專以理為主，未溯理之原頭。蓋理者虛位，有物有則，必本之天生 民，所謂道之大原出於天是也。惟空說一理字，故佛氏得以恣其汗謾之說，微妙玄通，易於動人。凡有志於清心釋累者，既不知大本大原，確有主宰，勢不得不浸淫於其中；聰慧之士，於是信其高曠之論。惟告以性命之所以然，則機鋒棒喝，皆無箸落；本覺妙明，何關實際，必廢然而思反。愚蒙之民，惑於禍福之說。惟告以賞罰之權自天主而操，則茹素禮懺，無能逭罪；齊僧舍宅，不可祈福；必悔其前之所為，其堅自摧，其枳自拔。 |
