五月戊午，隋恭帝禪位。創業注此詔在四月，今從《實録》。七月，隋元文都等謀誅王世充。《河洛記》：初，元文都欲自為御史，盧楚已為宣詔，王世充固執以為不可，乃止。文都大恨。盧楚私謂文都曰：王世充走外軍一將非留守達官，比者領軍屢為犇徙，吾方䘏外姦，且從捨過，翻更宰制人事，跋扈縱橫，此而不除，恐為國患。文都曰：未可即殺。且欲當朝上奏御前縛之，鏁繫於獄。楚曰：善。文都懐奏入殿，臨欲施行，趙季卿私告之，世充遂犇合嘉以作亂。是時宮中亦遣使傳報世充為皇姨故也。初，世充妻蕭氏早亡，後有胡氏者，復在江都，皇泰主乃以皇姨嫁之，至是爭權，遂起兵馬。文都等令趙方海扵前後追世充，世充乃託疾不受召」。按世充正為與文都爭李密事相誅耳，恐事不因此。今不取。
