2  | 掌貢部者三年，出為鄂岳觀察使而卒。鄂岳正江夏之地，所言官品事跡俱合，則彥休當為鍇之從孫。惟新舊書皆失鍇之里籍，遂不知彥休為何地人耳。陳振孫《書錄解題》曰：彥休自號參寥子，《唐藝文志》注亦同。《宋史藝文志》載《闕史》一卷，注曰參寥子述。又載高彥休《闕史》三卷，分為兩書兩人，殊為舛誤。又黃伯思《東觀餘論》有此書跋云，敘稱甲辰歲編次，蓋僖宗中和四年，而其間有已書僖號者，或後人追改之。今考序中自言乾符甲子生，乾符無甲子，當為甲午之訛。下距中和四年僅十年，不應即能著書。由是以後，惟晉開運元年為甲辰，上推乾符元年甲午生，年當七十一歲，尚有著書之理。然則彥休蓋五代人也。是書諸家著錄皆三卷。今止上、下二卷，似從他書抄撮而成，非其原本。 |
