1  | 明徐有貞撰。有貞初名珵，字元玉，吳縣人。宣德癸丑進士，官至兵部尚書，兼華蓋殿大學士，封武功伯。尋下獄戍金齒，放歸，久之乃卒。事跡具《明史》本傳。有貞究心經濟，於天官、地理、兵法、水利、陰陽、方術之書無不博覽，惟傾險躁進，每欲以智數立功名。與石亨等倡議奪門，僥幸孤注之一擲，幸而得濟，又怙權植黨，威福自專，卒亦為人構陷。所謂君以此始，必以此終，實深為君子所詬病。祝允明為有貞外孫，所作《蘇談》，往往回護，其詞究不足以奪公論也。然其幹略本長，見聞亦博。故其文奇氣坌湧，而學問複足以濟其辨。 |
