2  | 崇禎元年，起河南副使，加右參政，移霸州。四年，移山海關飭兵備。父鶴，總督陜西被逮，嗣昌三疏請代，得減死。五年夏，擢右僉都御史，巡撫永平、山海諸處。嗣昌父子不附奄，無嫌於東林。侍郎遷安郭鞏以逆案謫戍廣西，其鄉人為訟冤。嗣昌以部民故，聞於朝，給事中姚思孝駁之，自是與東林卻。 |
