248  | 據天主《聖經》，上主乃萬根之原，常生真福永命之本。故有形有靈之人，殺牲共物，誦誥敬畏，盡己身心之力，以祭之禱之，當然之理也。但以身不如以心求之。若豐財厚祿之人有罪，雖用犧牲寶物之盛，奏樂誦誥以求，百不得一；若無辜雖無物貧家，空手虛心，惟以誠實敬畏，無聲之意以求，則百求百獲。無辜聖德者如此。至於最惡者，若反於己，醒悟痛悔，改過洗心，而惟一心之潔求之，百禱百獲，無不然。凡求莫若於心求如此。 |
