2  | 永安王孝基，高祖從父弟也。父璋，周梁州刺史，與趙王祐謀殺隋文帝，事洩被誅，高祖即位，追封畢王。孝基，武德元年封永安王，歷陜州總管、鴻臚卿，以罪免。二年，劉武周將宋金剛來寇汾、澮。夏縣人呂崇茂殺縣令，舉兵反，自稱魏王，請援於武周。復以孝基為行軍總管討之，工部尚書獨孤懷恩、內史侍郎唐儉、陜州總管於筠悉隸焉。武周遣其將尉遲敬德潛援崇茂，大戰於夏縣，王師敗績，孝基與唐儉等皆沒於賊。後謀歸國，為武周所害，高祖為之發哀，廢朝三日，賜其家帛千匹。賊平，購其尸不得，招魂而葬之，贈左衛大將軍，謚曰壯。無子，以從兄韶子道立為嗣，封高平郡王。九年，降為縣公。永徽初，卒於陳州刺史。 |
