7  | 是歲，江州刺史陳伯之叛，茂出為江州刺史，南討之。伯之奔魏。時九江新經軍寇，茂務農省役，百姓安之。四年，魏攻漢中，茂受詔西御，魏乃班師。歷位侍中，中衛將軍，太子詹事，車騎將軍，開府儀同三司，丹陽尹。時天下無事，武帝方敦文雅，茂心頗怏怏，侍宴醉後，每見言色。武帝宥而不責。進位司空。 |
| 31 | 天監元年，徵為侍中、車騎將軍，封寧都縣侯。詳累讓，乃更授右光祿大夫，侍中如故，給親信二十人，改封豐城縣公。三年，遷湘州刺史。詳善吏事，在州四載，為百姓所稱。州城南臨水有峻峰，舊傳云「刺史登此山輒代」，由是歷政莫敢至，詳於其地起臺榭，延僚屬，以表損挹之志。後徵為尚書左僕射、金紫光祿大夫，道病卒。上為素服舉哀，贈開府儀同三司，謚曰景。子但嗣。 |
