17  | 從孫壽民，字眉生，為諸生有聲。崇禎九年，行保舉法，巡撫張國維以壽民應詔。甫入都，疏劾兵部尚書楊嗣昌奪情。復攻總督熊文燦，言：「嗣昌挈軍旅權，付文燦兵十二萬，餉二百八十餘萬。使賊面縛輿櫬，猶應宣布皇威，而後待以不死；今乃講盟結約，若與國然。天下有授柄於賊而能制賊者乎？」通政張紹先寢不上。壽民以書責，紹先乃請上裁，嗣昌皇恐待罪。帝以疏違式，命勿進。壽民遂隱括兩疏上之，留中。少詹事黃道周歎曰：「此何等事，在朝者不言而草野言之，吾輩媿死矣。」後道周及何楷等相繼抗疏，要自壽民發之。壽民名動天下。未幾移疾去，講學姑山，從游者數百人。福王時，阮大鋮用事，銜壽民劾嗣昌疏有「大鋮妄陳條畫，鼓煽豐芑」語，必欲殺之。壽民乃變姓名避之金華山。國變乃歸，不復出。 |
