16  | 懋學，字君典，宣城人。父寵，字畏思。嘉靖中舉鄉試，授行唐知縣。以民不諳織紝，置機杼教之。調獲鹿，徵授御史，官至廣西參議。師貢安國、歐陽德，又從王畿、錢德洪游。知府羅汝芳創講會，御史耿定向聘寵與梅守德共主其席。懋學少有才名。舉萬曆五年進士第一，授修撰。居正子嗣修，其同年生也。疏既格不入，乃三貽書勸嗣修諫，嗣修不能用。以工部尚書李幼滋與居正善，復貽書為言。幼滋報曰：「若所言，宋人腐語，趙氏所以不競也。張公不奔喪，與揖讓征誅，並得聖賢中道，賢儒安足知之。」幼滋初講學，盜虛名，至是縉紳不與焉。懋學遂引疾歸。居數年，卒。福王時，追謚文節。 |
