72  | 旋進右諭德，掌司經局，疏辭。因言己有三罪、四恥、七不如。三罪、四恥，以自責。七不如者，謂「品行高峻，卓絕倫表，不如劉宗周；至性奇情，無愧純孝，不如倪元璐；湛深大慮，遠見深計，不如魏呈潤；犯言敢諫，清裁絕俗，不如詹爾選、吳執御；志尚高雅，博學多通，不如華亭布衣陳繼儒、龍溪舉人張燮；至圜土累系之臣，朴心純行，不如李汝璨、傅朝佑；文章意氣，坎坷磊落，不如錢謙益、鄭鄤。」鄤方被杖母大詬，帝得疏駭異，責以顛倒是非。道周疏辯，語復營護鄤。帝怒，嚴旨切責。 |
