22  | 太宗將北征，因閱武獵近郊，以多盜獵狐兔者，命禁之。有衛士奪人獐，當死，帝曰：「若殺之，後世必謂我重獸而輕人。」特貰其罪。帝常以臘日校獵，諭從臣曰：「臘日出狩，以順時令，緩轡從禽，是非荒也。」回幸講武臺，張樂，賜群臣飲。其後，獵西郊，親射走兔五。詔以古者搜狩，以所獲之禽薦享宗廟，而其禮久廢，今可復之。遂為定式。帝雅不好弋獵，詔除有司行禮外，罷近甸游畋，五坊所畜鷹犬並放之，諸州不得以鷹來獻。已而定難軍節度使趙保忠獻鶻一，號「海東青」，詔還賜之。臘日，但命諸王略畋近郊，而五坊之職廢矣。 |
