26  | 畢仲游受知於司馬光、呂公著、范純仁最探。時蘇軾在館閣，頗以言語文章規切時政，仲游憂其及禍，貽書戒之曰：孟軻不得已而後辯，孔子欲無言。古人所以精謀極慮固功業而養壽命者，未嘗不出乎此。君自立朝以來，禍福利害繫身者，未嘗顧惜乎。言語之累，不特出口者為言，其形於詩歌，贊於賦頌，託於碑銘序記者，皆是也。今知畏於口，而未畏於文，是其所是，則見是者喜；非其所非，則蒙非者怨。喜者未能濟君之謀，而怨者或已敗君之事矣。天下論君之文，固所指名者矣。雖無是非之言，猶有是非之疑。又昆其有耶。官非諫官，職非御史，危身觸忌，以游其問，殆猶轉石而梂溺也。 |
