12  | 法冠，一曰柱後。獨斷曰：「柱後惠文。」高五寸，以纚為展筩，前書注曰：「纚，今之縰。」通俗文：「幘裏曰纚。」鐵柱卷，荀綽晉百官表注曰：「鐵柱，言其厲直不曲橈。」執法者服之，侍御史、廷尉正監平也。或謂之獬豸冠。獬豸神羊，能別曲直，楚王甞獲之，故以為冠。異物志曰：「東北荒中有獸名獬豸，一角，性忠，見人鬬，則觸不直者；聞人論，則咋不正者。楚執法者所服也。今冠兩角，非象也。」臣昭曰：或謂獬豸迺非定名，在兩角未足斷正，安不存其豎飾，令兩為冠乎？胡廣說曰：「春秋左氏傳有南冠而縶者，則楚冠也。秦滅楚，以其君服賜執法近臣御史服之。」 |
