《卷十六》
25  | 杭州秋闈榜發，仁、錢兩縣，往往中者五六十人。赴鹿鳴宴時，傾城士女，垂簾而觀，見美少年，則嘖嘖嘆羨。戊午科，年少尤多。有周孝廉名鼎者，年才三十，而滿面于慧。嘗謂餘曰；「人以赴鹿鳴為樂，我以赴鹿鳴為慘。」餘問：「何也」曰：「餘在路上揭簾坐，則兒童婦女攫啃曰：『大胡子，何必赴鹿鳴』餘下轎簾，則又簇簇然笑指曰：『此人不敢揭簾，定坐一白髮翁矣。』豈非教我進退兩難乎」徐朗齋有句云：「有酒休辭連夜飲，好花須及少年看。」真閱歷語。又句云：「幽榻琴書偏愛夜，異鄉風月不宜秋。」新涼半床月，殘醉一簾花。」皆可愛也。 |
