4  | 君讳元方，字某，解人也。系自周鲁，后得柳姓。七代祖虬，后魏中书令，封美阳公。四叶至皇考叮皇朝散大夫资阳令。祖延州司马。考颐，宣州宁国丞。济德克绍厥类，藏聪晦明，粹为淑和。少孤，季父建抚字训道，通《左氏春秋》，贯历代史，旨画罗列，接在视听，嗜为文章，辞富理精。以门荫出身，调补宣州溧水尉。网簿贡职，入于天府，特授同州冯翊尉。改京兆府云阳主簿，转长安主簿，迁万年丞。端靖守贞，处剧不挠。秩满居养素食贫，常好竺乾之道，自搌尘昏之外，泊如也。既而婴被沉疾，不克永寿。姻戚动怀，朋友道伤，佥曰：「天之报施善人，何如哉！」 |
