《迷信類一》
1  | 某氏婦，小家女也。少寡，獨與二子居。素信神怪，既寡，捨鞠育子女外，惟以長齋奉佛為事。平日所詔其子者，不外迷信一途。如入夕，偶見燈之結蕊，則喜曰：「將得佳音也。」飲茶，見有葉挺立於杯中者，則曰：「客將至矣。」取而囓之，更入杯，觀其仆否，以卜來者之為男子為婦女。聞鵲噪，以為將得幸福，乃祝其多鳴。聞鴉鳴，以為將有禍殃，則唾之。兒不解，婦語以故，兒亦雀躍而前，以助其母之祝與唾也。夜中或聞犬吠，兒驚，呼以慰之，曰：「勿聲，彼所吠者，非鬼則空中之神也。」兒恐，遂亦不敢出聲。 |
