42  | 《齊民要術》曰：種者梨熟時，全埋之。經年，至春地釋，分栽之。多著熟糞及水。至冬葉落，附地刈殺之；以炭火燒頭。二年即結子。若穞生及種而不栽者，著子遲。每梨有十許，惟二子生梨，餘皆生杜。插者彌疾。插法，用棠、杜：棠梨大而細理；杜，次之；桑梨大惡。棗石榴上插得者、為上梨，雖治十，收得一二也。杜，如臂已上，皆任插。當先種杜；經年後插之。至冬俱下亦得；然俱下者，杜死則不生也。杜樹，大者插五枝；小者，或二，梨葉微動為上時，玄扈先生曰：凡貼法，皆於葉微動時，無不活者。將欲開莩為下時。先作麻紉，纏十許匝。一鋸截杜，令去地五六寸。斜攕竹，刺皮木之際，令深一寸許。折取其美梨枝，陽中者陰中枝，則實少長五六寸，亦斜攕之令過心；大小長短，與簽等。以刀罃刂梨枝斜攕之際，剝去黑皮。勿令傷青皮！青皮傷，即死。拔去竹簽，即插梨，令至罃刂處。木還向木，皮還近皮。插訖，以綿幕杜頭；封熟泥於土，以土培覆之。勿令堅固。百不失一。梨枝甚脆，培土時，宜慎之。勿使掌撥護，撥護則拆。 |
