《鄉言解頤卷一》
25  | 「上天同雲，雨雪棼棼，益之以霡霖。」言雪而及雨者。蓋冬多積雪，至春而益以小雨，則更優沾矣。《齊民要術》：「雪者，五穀之精。使稼耐旱。」《朝野俞載》：「正月見三白，相公笑赫赫。一北人諺曰：要宜麥，見三白。吾鄉諺曰：三九無雪休種麥。麥種於秋，鄉田謂之漏風地，不宜秋麥宜春麥，故以三九之雪為來春種麥之徵。又曰雪能殺蝗，秋蝗遣種入地，惟大雪浸下，可以藥之。其曰米星雪，則先集維霰也。其曰綿花套子雪，則柳絮因風也。陶穀掃雪烹茶，農夫亦以器積雪水。劉叉賦冰柱，鄉人則謂之凌錐。至於堆雪山，小兒之伎倆也。架雪橋，健訟之誕詞也。謂苦寒太甚者謂之雪上加霜，謂周濟貧寒者謂之雪裹送炭。若報仇雪恨之雪，則音同而義別矣。昔聞河間太守招同官賞雪，席間吟詩，太守曰「大雪下了二尺五」，縣令曰「只見梅花不見土」。廣文曰「準備來年收麥子」，都司曰「糨子抹遍河間府」。以麥屑和水熟稠曰糨子，生稀曰面糊。俗謂官事不了了者曰面糊。面糊者，胡塗也。 |
