5  | 臣等谨案《星命总括》三卷，旧本题辽耶律纯撰，有纯原序一篇，末署统和二年八月十三日，自称为翰林学士，奉使髙丽议地界，因得彼国国师传授星躔之学云云，按统和为辽圣宗年号，《辽史?本纪》其年无遣使髙丽事，其二「国外纪」但称统和三年，诏东征髙丽以辽泽沮洳罢师，亦无遣使议地界之文，辽代贵仕不出耶，律氏萧氏二族，而遍检列传，独无纯名，殆亦出于依托也，《文渊阁书目》载有是书一部，不著册数，《菉竹堂书目》作五册，又不著卷数，外间别无传本，惟《永乐大典》所载始末完具，然计其篇页，不足五册之数，或叶盛所记有讹欤，中间论议精到，剖析义理，徃往造微，为术家所宜参考。惟所称宫有偏正，则立说甚新，而騐之殊多乖忤，盖天道甚逺，非人所能尽测，故言命者，但当得其大要而止，茍多出竒思曲意，揣度以冀无所不合，反至扵窒塞而不可通矣。术家流弊，往往坐此读者，取其所长而畧其繁琐可也。乾隆四十六年九月恭校上 |
