6  | 仙非可學而至也，愚于陳摶乎騐之，夫長生不死，世之所謂仙也，自有生以來，安有所謂不死人哉？葢命之修短，各懸于氣之稟受，而不係于人之修。為孔子何人夀？止七十有三，則聖人固若是耶？粵維上古，稟氣厥生，各千餘嵗，至堯舜時，猶踰百嵗，繼此雖人物禀受差殊，而天地之氣亦薄矣，脩長者猶間或一值焉，如籛何學？顧七百餘嵗，乃若陳摶卒，年一百八十有竒，今考漁鈎媼乳之傳，雖若難信，要其生固自于人，異者頭顱骸骨，今匧置硤中，死有足徴，世猶以蛻骨成仙云者，術士之妄惑之也。辟諸星麗于天，光彩燦爛，猶人之生也，隕而為石，摶之骨是已，蟬蜕羽化，尸解飛昇，仙家幻妄，卒歸于此焉爾矣，乃使世人絶欲導氣，貪生妄想，卒之猶速其死者，首駢踵聚，禍不甚耶？是故世儒立論，執以為無者，不知間值之說者也，過以為有者，不知稟受之說者也，學之而至者，亦其稟受之有者也，否則學似顔子難矣，是故程子以為天下至難，事其知言哉？嗚呼！仙本非學也，必欲學焉，終以無成老且死而不悟，聖人所可學也，天下其幾矣！棄聖人之道，而學仙無惑乎？退之，皆以為自棄其身爾！夫茍以為聖人果不可學而至也，則學仙之妄可熄，術士種種之說尚足以禍天下哉？ |
