40  | 久之，上召景仁讀陳言文字。上問「事款幾何？」景仁率易，少周密，對曰：「二十餘事。」復曰：「其中如某事某事十事可行，餘皆無謂也。」明日，上召景仁責之曰：「卿昨言可行者，朕觀之，中復有不可行者。卿謂無謂者，中亦有可行者。朕未嘗使卿分別可否，卿輒專可否，何也？自今戒之。」十年，兼太常卿，學士、同修國史如故。轉承旨，兼修國史。改河南尹。二十一年，召為御史大夫，仍兼承旨、修國史。 |
