16  | 牛李之黨，皆挾邪取權，兩相傾軋，紛紜傾陷，垂四十年。文宗繩之不能去，嘗謂侍臣曰：去河北賊非難，去此朋黨實難。楊嗣復李珏鄭覃作相，屢爭論於上前。李珏曰：比來朋黨亦漸消弭。覃曰：近有小朋黨生。覃又曰：近日事亦漸好，未免些些不公然。嗣復珏牛黨也，覃李黨也。德裕為相，指摭僧孺，欲加之深罪，但以僧孺貞方有素，無以伺其隙。德裕南遷，所著窮愁志，引里俗犢子之讖以斥僧孺，又曰為太牢公。其相憎如此。 |
