34  | 今承平日久，吏治抏敝。疆場靡寧，詔使旁午。責數年之逋負於俗奢民貧災殣彫瘵之餘，寬之則廢上之供，急之則傷民之命。自非識時通變之材，其於上下損益之際，未能調劑之不失其宜也。公於是時鎮以寬靜，處以弘簡，不震不竦，能使上安而下服之，可謂難矣。某常有事郡中，望公進止肅肅。詩曰：「敬慎威儀，維民之則。」又曰：「古訓是式，威儀是力，天子是若，明命使賦。」公其有焉。 |
