4  | 《務本新書》：四月種椹，二月種舊椹亦同。東西掘畦，熟糞和土，耬平，下水，水宜濕透。然後布子。或和黍子同種，椹藉黍力，易為生發，又遮日色。或預於畦南、畦西種檾，後藉檾陰遮映夏日。長至三二寸，旱則澆之。 |
| 13 | 至十月內，附地割了，撒亂草，走火燒過。火不可大，恐損根。糞草蓋。至來春，杷耬去糞草，澆。每一科自出芽三數箇，留旺者一條。已成根，則不須蔭。可頻澆。至秋，魯桑可長五七尺，荊桑可長三四尺。魯桑可移為地桑，荊桑可移入園養之。 |
