16  | 汪魏美乱后隐居不出，其内姻欲强之试礼部，出千金视汪妻曰：能劝夫子驾，则畀汝。对曰：夫子不可劝，吾亦不爱此金。其人惭而止汪名渢，浙江钱塘人，年二十二举孝廉，甘贫不仕。尝独身提药裹，往来山谷间。宿食无定处，与人落落。性不好声华，时人号曰汪冷。当事或割俸金为寿，不得却，坎而埋之。里贵人请墓铭百金，拒弗许。妻钱氏，字瑟瑟，南昌守武山女。初成婚，汪谓曰：吾本寒儒，得连姻贵室，所望知礼义孝，事姑嫜，和妯娌，足矣。侈簪珥绮绣之饰，毋庸也。钱即尽去服饰，屏侍婢，以疏布，亲操作 |
