147  | 內山有社名曰「嘟嘓」，其番翦發、突睛、大耳，狀甚惡；足指如雞爪，上樹如狷獼，善射好殺。番境補遺云：『雞距番，足趾楂𣏎，食息皆在樹間，非種植不下平地。常深夜獨出，至海濱取水；遇土番，往往竊其首去。土番亦追殺不遺餘力，蓋其足趾楂𣏎不利平地，多為土番追及。既登樹，則穿林度棘，不可複制矣。其巢與雞籠山相近，無路可通；土人扳藤上下，與之交易，一月一次，雖生番亦懾焉。惟懼炮火，聞聲即跳遁』。 |
