| 2 | 吾生無益於人，尚思有所託以見於後世，亦自笑其愚也。雖然少受父師之訓朝夕啓牖得有微明長而從四方學士大夫游獲聞其緖論增長我之智識良不淺昔人云勝讀十年書豈虛語哉古之君子聞善以相告也見善以相示也鹿得美艸尚呼其羣而況於人乎故隨所得輒錄之不暇詮次分為四卷不辭竊取之誚幸免攘善之失余前後忝鍾山講席最久故以《鍾山札記》標其目噫余老矣兒輩皆弱不忍辛苦纂集之復為煙飛灰盡也飢寒不恤而剞劂是務傳聞於未聞之者當不至視為無用之言不急之辯而棄之刻旣成適臥疾在牀幸身及見之漫題數語於首簡倘耳目尚未卽廢壞或將更有述焉
