| 3 | 臣等谨案：《西河集》一百九十巻，国朝毛竒龄撰。竒龄著述之富，甲于近代。没后其门人子侄编为《西河合集》，分经集、史集》、《文集、襍著》四部，凡四百馀巻。其史问以竒龄有遗命，不付剞劂，语见经问第五巻景泰帝条下，馀亦不尽行于世。此本为康熙庚子其门人蒋枢所编，但分经集、文集》二部。经集凡五十种，已别著録文集凡二百三十四巻。而䇿问一巻表一巻集课记一巻、续哀江南赋一巻、拟广博词连珠词一巻，皆有録无书。其中如王文成传》本二巻，制科襍録一巻、后观石録一巻越语、肯綮録一巻，何御史孝子祠主复位録》一巻，《湘湖水利志》三巻，萧山县志刋误三巻，杭志三诘三误辨一巻天问补注一巻，胜朝彤史拾遗记六巻，武宗外纪一巻，后鉴録七巻，韵学要指十一巻、诗话八巻、词话二，巻外附徐都讲诗一卷，本各自为书。今析出别著于録。其当编于集部者，实文一百三十巻、词七巻、诗五十三巻，统计一百九十巻。竒龄之文，纵横博辨，傲睨一世，与其经说相表里，不古不今，自成一格，不可以䋲尺求之。然议论多所发明，亦不可废。其诗又次于文，不免伤于猥杂，而要亦我用我法，不屑随人歩趋，固当以馀事观之。今亦并録于末云乾隆四十四年五月恭校上。 |
