105  | 上複位之初，因思建庶人輩淹禁將五六十年，意欲寬之。一日，謂賢曰：「親親之義，實所不忍。」賢對曰：「陛下此一念，天地鬼神實臨之，太祖在天之靈實臨之，堯舜存心不過如此。」上遂決。即日白太后，許之。左右或以為不可，上曰：「有天命者任自為之。」左右聞之，皆愧服不能止。乃遣中官於鳳陽造房屋。畢日，上召賢曰：「今可送去。」敕軍衛有司供給柴米，凡一應器用悉令完具。聽其婚娶，自在出入。給與閽者二十人，婢妾十數人。遣太監牛玉入禁諭其意。建庶人聞之，且悲且喜，不意聖恩如此。時庶人年五十六、七，吳庶人已沒，尚有庶母姐㚺老婦五六人，有年八十之上者。庶人入禁時方二歲，出見牛馬亦不識。上謂賢：「可發旨意？」賢謂：「此非細事，宜諭文武百官。」上曰：「然。」次日宣畢，人人感嘆，以為真帝王美事。既而為淺見者以利害阻之。 天順日錄。 |
