2  | 後女抵家，家有老母及妹，亦惡若輩之無狀，思有以報之。一夕，二更向盡，母女尚未寢，有盜數十人攻其家。女陰念距城僅十數里，是必若輩無疑，於是母女各持一鐵棒，啟其門。盜蜂擁遽入，女當先禦之，即連踣其十數人，復斃其五六。盜方欲散去，女故厲聲止之曰：「勿爾，傷而能逃者，可即去，死於是者，亦悉聽運歸，不汝難也。」盜逡巡，女自籬內次第擲出之。於是母欲暫徙城中以避盜，女曰：「世果治也，山居與城郭何異？」母不能強。女終不為意，日往來市上不輟。一日，歸抵山麓，距家僅數百武，時夕陽西下，林樹蒼茫，徑少人跡，乍聞轟然一聲，則銃彈已中女股，第二彈繼至，復中其腹，遂倒地。母妹適採樵返，見之，急負歸，女急怒目視曰：「殺兒者仍米傭也。」言已始逝。 |
