4  | 作杬子法：純取雌鴨，無令雜雄，足其粟豆，常令肥飽，一鴨便生百卵。俗所謂「谷生」者。此卵既非陰陽合生，雖伏亦不成雛，宜以供膳，幸無麛卵之咎也。 取杬木皮，《爾雅》曰：「杬，魚毒。」郭璞注曰：「杬，大木，子似栗，生南方，皮厚汁赤，中藏卵、果。」無杬皮者，虎杖根、牛李根，並任用。《爾雅》云：「蒤，虎杖。」郭璞注云：「似紅草，粗大，有細節，可以染赤。」淨洗細莖，剉，煮取汁。率二斗，及熱下鹽一升和之。汁極冷，內甕中，汁熱，卵則致敗，不堪久停。浸鴨子。一月任食。煮而食之，酒食俱用。鹹徹則卵浮。〈吳中多作者，至數十斛。久停彌善，亦得經夏也。 |
