1  | 琉璃，以扁青石為藥料而燒成之，宮殿及親王邸宅所用琉璃瓦是也。色或黃或綠，其形則有筒瓦、版瓦之殊，率以圓木或斲木為模，而範土造之。扁青石，即鉛與鈉之矽酸化合物，有玻璃光，微透明，可為裝飾品及青色顏料，陶器之釉藥中亦用之。 |
| 1 | 珂羅版為美術之印刷，國人能自製之。其製法，先用矽酸鈉溶液塗於金剛砂磨過之玻璃版，用水洗之，俟乾，更塗珂羅丁及重酪酸鉀之混合液，與乾片密接，曝於日中，再用水洗之，像留於版。印刷時，先浸以水，拭去溼氣，以皮棍或膠棍傅以顏色，每版可印數百紙，俗稱玻璃版。 |
