1 序贤弈编 明 刘元卿
2 馀性拙,不晓博弈。客至第相与对坐,又不善劝酒,客或欠伸苦之。因饱食之暇,辑古今人言行可为法戒者,粗作区目。客至焚香拭几,取书读一二品,以代奕棋云尔。读者因有所触动,岂独曰犹贤乎已。类凡十有六。盖馀尝从田墅间,闻诸长老谭宣正成弘间民物殷盛,闾阎熙熙,由时一二元宰哲臣,器局宏深,质行方正。故里风朴略,古意盎然。今民舍无不有愁叹声。而尚习日侈,则士节之不立。士节之不立,则器不足居之。总其本原暗于学。斯所繇不能行古之道也与。逑怀古第一,次廉淡,次德器,次方正,继之以证学。学明而论修矣,故叙伦次之。而家正矣,故家闲次之。家闲则官政立,官政立则仁泽远,仁泽远则干局宏。故次官政、广仁、干局。孰质不才,孰心不仁,有其蔽之,政乃弗违。斯孔子所由得之。不得曰。有命乎,受之以达命。维仙暨佛,蝉脱尘埃,富贵浮云,所谓礼失而求之野者,受之以仙释。岂惟仙释,夫物则亦有然,明于庶物,君子存之。抑人有言,道在糠秕,是以或罕譬而喻。醒于指陈,或前言戏之。庄于法语,或曲引轮回。威于斧钺。故复逑观物、逑警喻,逑应谐,而以志怪终焉。
