14  | 王导闻其名，遣人迎之，文不肯就船车，荷担徒行。既至，导置之西园，园中果木成林，又有鸟兽麋鹿，因以居文焉。于是朝士咸共观之，文颓然踑踞，傍若无人。温峤尝问文曰：「人皆有六亲相娱，先生弃之何乐？」文曰：「本行学道，不谓遭世乱，欲归无路，是以来也。」又问曰：「饥而思食，壮而思室，自然之性，先生安独无情乎？」文曰：「情由忆生，不忆故无情。」又问曰：「先生独处穷山，若疾病遭命，则为乌鸟所食，顾不酷乎？」文曰：「藏埋者亦为蝼蚁所食，复何异乎！」又问曰：「猛兽害人，人之所畏，而先生独不畏邪？」文曰：「人无害兽之心，则兽亦不害人。」又问曰：「茍世不宁，身不得安。今将用先生以济时，若何？」文曰：「山草之人，安能佐世！」导尝众客共集，丝竹并奏，试使呼之。文瞪眸不转，跨蹑华堂如行林野。于时坐者咸有钩深味远之言，文常称不达来语。天机铿宏，莫有窥其门者。温峤尝称曰：「文有贤人之性，而无贤人之才，柳下、梁踦之亚乎！」永昌中，大疫，文病亦殆。王导遗药，文曰：「命在天，不在药也。夭寿长短，时也。」 |
