《卷九官理》
1  | 抱朴子曰：騄之騁逸邊，由造父之御也。禹、稷之序百揆，遭唐、虞之主也。故能不勞而千里至，揖讓而頌聲作。若乃臧獲之乘驌騻，殷辛之臨三仁，欲長驅輕騖，則轡急轅逼。欲盡規竭忠，則禍福發機。所以車傾於險塗，國覆而不振也。故良駿敗於拙御，智士躓於暗世。仲尼不能止魯侯之出，晏嬰不能遏崔杼之亂。其才則是，主則非也。夫君猶器也，臣猶物也。器小物大，不能相受矣。髫孺背千金而逐蛺蜨，越人棄八珍而甘鼃黽，即患不賞好，又病不識惡矣。夫不用，則雖珍而不貴矣。莫與，則傷之者必至。昔衛靈聽聖言而數驚，秦孝聞高談而睡寐，而欲緝隆平之化，牧良能之勳，猶卻行以逐馳，適楚而首燕也。 |
