53  | 子春別了韋氏，也不帶從人，獨自一個上了牲口，逕往華山路上前去。原來天下名山，無如五岳。你道那五岳？中岳嵩山、東岳泰山、北岳恆山、南岳霍山、西岳華山。這五岳都是神仙窟宅。五岳之中，惟華山最高。四面看來，都是方的，如刀斧削成一片，故此俗人稱為「削成山」。到了華山頂上，別有一條小路，最為艱險，須要攀藤捫葛而行。約莫五十餘里，才是雲臺峰。子春擡頭一望，早見兩株檜樹，青翠如蓋，中間顯出一座血紅的山門，門上豎著扁額，乃是「太上老君之祠」六個老大的金字。此時乃七月十五，中元令節，天氣尚熱，況又許多山路，走得子春渾身是汗，連忙拭淨斂容，向前頂禮仙像。只見那老者走將出來，比前大是不同，打扮得似神仙一般。但見他：戴一頂玲瓏碧玉星冠，被一領織錦絳綃羽衣，黃絲綬腰間婉轉，紅雲履足下蹣跚。額下銀鬚灑灑，鬢邊華髮斑斑。兩袖香風飄瑞靄，一雙光眼露朝星。 |
