34  | 孔子字仲尼，一作仲㞾，孔子母顔氏，徵在禱尼丘而生，故以為名字。《史記》云：孔子生而首上圩頂，故名丘。張禹云：「仲者，中也。尼者，和也」。言孔子有中和之德，故字仲尼。梁武帝亦以丘為聚，尼為「和」，並謬。仲尼父叔。梁紇叔，字梁紇名，故《家語》稱「梁紇」，一云叔梁，字紇名，故《左傳》稱「紇也叔。梁紇娶魯之施氏，生九女。其妾生孟皮，字伯尼，是為孔子兄。或云孟，皮字也，名貙。按祖庭記》、《闕里志》、《孔子家譜》、《家語》俱不載。葢後人見《左傳》宋司馬華，貙字孟皮，故疑孟皮名貙耳。孟皮病足。魯襄公十九年「丁未，叔梁紇求婚於顔氏。二十二年庚戌，十月庚子，申時，生孔子。即今之八月二十七日也。或云孔子生於二月二十三日，非孟皮子名忠，字子蔑，一作「子茂，一作子蘉。 |
