1  | 明王宗沐撰。宗沐字新甫，臨海人。嘉靖甲辰進士，官至刑部左侍郎。事跡具《明史》本傳。是編乃隆慶六年二月，宗沐任山東布政使時議開海運而作，所載皆其議事呈文。是年七月，複鋟《海運志》，於《詳考》之外增入《海運圖》，並《海運路程》、《奏疏事宜》。考宗沐官右副都御史總督漕運時，請複海運，其疏載所著《敬所文集》中，本傳亦載其略。然史載宗沐運米十二萬石自淮入海，抵天津。南京給事中張煥言：「比聞八舟漂沒，失米三千二百石。宗沐預計有此，私令人糴補。米可補，人命可補乎？宗沐掩飾視聽，非大臣誼。」宗沐疏辨求勘。 |
