《卷一百九文謝之死》
10  | 二十六年夏四月，福建參知政事魏天祐執宋謝枋得至燕，不屈，死之。初，天祐見時方以求才為急，欲薦枋得為功，使其友趙孟𨓴誘枋得入城。與之言，坐而不對，或嫚言無禮。天祐不能堪，乃讓曰「封疆之臣當死封疆，安仁之敗何以不死」枋得曰「程嬰、公孫杵臼二人皆忠於趙，一死於十五年之前，一死於十五年之後，萬世之下，皆不失為忠臣。王莽篡漢十四年，龔勝乃餓死，亦不失為忠臣。司馬子長云：死有重於泰山，有輕於鴻毛。參政豈足知此」天祐怒，逼之北行。枋得以死自誓，自離嘉興即不食，二十餘日不死，乃複食。既渡采石，惟茹少蔬果，積數月，困殆。是月朔日，至燕，問太后攢所及瀛國所在，再拜，慟哭。已而疾甚，遷憫忠寺。見壁間曹娥碑，泣曰「小女子猶爾，吾豈不汝若哉，」留夢炎使醫持藥雜米飲進之，枋得怒，擲之於地。不食五日，死。子定之獲骸骨，歸葬信州。 |
